Mrs Esther Ibanga , an apostle of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, is a minister, an entrepreneur, mentor, and trainer. She founded Jos Christian Missions Int, now known as Ignite House of worship twenty-eight years ago and was the first female to start a church ministry in her city. She has been passionate and committed to building the Body of Christ and raising godly leaders to fulfill the call of God for their lives as they overcome spiritual warfare and walk in victory. She is also particularly committed to empowering and encouraging women to rise above societal limitations, culture and tradition to fulfill purpose.
Sister Ibanga is also the founder of “Women Without Walls Initiative” (WOWWI), a not-for-profit interfaith women’s organization which has been involved in peace building efforts and conflict resolution for over 13years. In 2015, Pastor Ibanga won an international peace award, the Niwano Peace Prize in Japan, making her the first African female to earn such an award in its 32nd year existence. She is known to fight for the rights of the underprivileged in Nigeria and parts of Africa in the last 28years.
Apostle Ibanga has been an advocate for good governance and became a trusted voice especially in the Middle belt of Nigeria and on global platforms where her voice has been loud and clear in demanding accountability and good governance from our leaders.
She has been host to a Family Program on Radio, ‘Homefront” for fourteen years where she built relationships and the marriage institution as ordained by God, healing homes and marriages, while encouraging the unmarried to have meaningful relationships. She is also well known with her TV program “This Present Truth” where the word of God is taught in simple terms above and over culture and tradition.
Pastor Ibanga is wife to Dr Iko Ibanga of ProHealth Int and a mother of two beautiful daughters. She lives in Nigeria and has travelled far and wide preaching the Word of God and speaking at international fora on the protection of minority rights and other issues she is passionate about.
