Pastor Carter Conlon is a Canadian-born American minister and author. In 2001, Carter succeeded David Wilkerson, author of The Cross and the Switchblade, as Senior Pastor of Times Square Church. During this time, Pastor Carter authored several books, including The 180-Degree Christian, Fear Not, Unshakable, and his autobiographical book, It’s Time to Pray.
Throughout his time in ministry, Pastor Carter has felt a mandate of the Lord to call the nation to prayer. This call has grown to include numerous ministries and initiatives including Times Square Church’s Worldwide Prayer Meeting, which is live streamed once a week and has online participants in more than 200 countries.
Carter Conlon currently serves as Chairman of the Board and General Overseer of Times Square Church, Inc. He continues to release radio devotionals under the banner, “It’s Time to Pray” which have been featured on NYC’s 1010 WINS radio, as well as 320 additional radio outlets throughout North America. He hosts a radio program, A Call to the Nation, which is broadcast throughout the US.
Pastor Conlon continues to speak at pastors and leaders’ conferences and events around the globe. He regularly speaks at World Challenge’s “Renewing Your Passion for Christ” conference and Family Research Council’s “Watchmen on the Wall” among many others. Conlon serves on the Board of Directors for Family Research Council, World Challenge, and Summit International School of Ministry, the Bible school of Times Square Church.
Pastor Conlon is married to Dr. Teresa Conlon, President of Summit International School of Ministry and associate pastor at Times Square Church. They have three children and nine grandchildren.
